Stryker CEO Departs Abruptly
Company attributed the departure to “family reasons” and offered no other details; sudden departure has some questioning future growth of the company.
Last week, we reported on Stryker celebrating 75 Years of Innovation , and revealing a series of new products at an Ortho meet. But it now has more pressing issues to worry about. Stryker’s board of directors have announced that Stephen P. MacMillan, its 48-year old chairman, president and chief executive officer, would leave the medical technologies company, effective immediately.
