Rethink How You Operate, Accenture tells Medtech Cos.
While growth in the medical technology industry has slowed due to recession and other factors, the significant drop in the rate of growth in the medical technology industry is most concerning.
This was the observation of Doug Mowen, Global and North American Lead for Accenture’s Medical Technology Practice, who referred to Accenture research showing a decline from about 15 percent in annual growth six years ago, to just 3.5 percent a year ago (see chart).
